Siri voice control through Apple TV (4th generation or later with Apple TV software 7.0 or later and an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iOS 8.1 or later). Note: Remote locking and unlocking functionality will be disabled if your Apple TV goes to sleep. It is recommended that you disable your Apple TV's sleep mode inside your Apple TV's settings. I chose this to replace an existing Weiser key-pad lock that had finally died. I consulted a locksmith who told me that I needed to buy the Weiser version to ensure that I could use my existing keys with the new lock. Apparently, you can replace a Kwikset with a Weiser but not the other way around...this may or may not still be true, but I did it just to be safe. But the installation was easy, and indeed it has the Smart Key feature so I was able to rekey the lock to my existing key in about 15 seconds. The electronic programming is easy from an iPhone, but unless the lock is close to an Apple TV unit you won't get remote programming if you're away. I don't have Alexa so I can't comment on that.
