Band is TOO BIG for wrists that are less than 7” circumference. And definitely only for very very light use.My wrist is 6.5in approx which is NOT a “small” wrist. According to online statistics 6.5 - 7 inch for adult female is considered medium size. My apple watch is 41mm. I am shocked how many reviews claim this band is “perfect for small wrists”. I think people must want to believe they are dainty and tiny when they are actually average? I can relate. However this band wrapped all the way around under the other half of the band after threading through buckle. This DEFEATS THE AIR HOLES properly VENTING ON THAT ONE SIDE. It also causes a slight gap between watch and my wrist on that side. Watch doesn’t want to sit totally flush to my wrist with this band. I did not put it on very tight which caused it to move around if I shook my hand, umm not exactly for sports then. Had I put it on tight enough to feel secure the xtra part of the band would have reached under the side of the watch face! Well that definitely wouldn’t work. Proof it is definitley TOO BIG and NOT at all “perfect for small wrists”. Also, It feels like a soft rubber band that could easily snap so I didn’t want to push it. It is awkward and cumbersome to put on and take off because of the unused length of the band.THE BUCKLE is awkward to use and the pin is not flush and causes the underside to stick out, not great if you frequently wrest your wrists on something like a table top or laptop/keyboard. That pin would bang and clack and scrape on surfaces. The softness and xtra pliability of the band feels the pin is at high risk of popping off. *note this has happened based on other reviews.PRO: I like the shape of the design, The band is slim and thin and soft and looks as nice as advertised. It has a really nice light barely there feel. The variety of color options is really nice too.DURABILITY:It is clearly not durable. I think the comfort and pliability and softness sacrafices the durability. I feel if I pull or tug too strongly or too often it is going to rip or snap or detach from Watch. The ends of the band that attach band to the watch face wiggle and move which doesn’t feel secure and makes me worried watch could actually detach from the band and fall right off while doing an activity. Note: I found a review that said it did this and the consequence was a scratched watch face, luckily it was indoors. I would say this band is okay for VERY LIGHT USE ONLY. It is not an awful band depending on your lifestlye and how much you will wear it.VALUE FOR MONEY: To be fair, It’s NOT THAT BAD FOR THE PRICE you get your value of $8 to $9.**$60 vs $9There is a big difference and reason why the official sport smartwatch bands are six to ten times more expensive. It really isn’t just for the brand logo in this case. I’ve had the same sport band (nike sport band with the vent holes) that came with my first apple watch for 6 YEARS WORN DAILY, AND STILL USE daily. I saved it and use it on my newest watch and the band still looks and acts new, No one would know it’s an old band on a new watch, it has had zero defects or issues, and it damn well should considering the outrageous price tag. However, I have been wanting a sport band that was a little less chunky looking so I bought this Amazon version.*NOTE TO DESINGERS: Considering the cost of my apple watch and the cost of original bands I would gladly pay $20 vs $8 for a more durable 3rd party band with a similar slim and vented design.**NOTE: I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE with same criticisms. After doing a deep dive on the reviews looking for less than five stars I saw several with same exact criticisms regarding fit and durability. Some have spoken in regards to it NOT fitting their “small” wrists. Several photos show parts have broken off in short time, which confirms my suspicion.30+ YEARS OF DAILY WATCH WEAR experience, and FINAL OPINION:I am an adult woman. I put my watch and band through a lot of abuse. My need for durablity trumps design. I have worn a sport watch every day, even when I sleep for over 30 years. I have worn smart watches for at least 8 years. The only time I ever take off my watch is to charge it, or when showering/bathing or when doing a formal event. I am an active outdoor enthusiast and also have an outdoor physical job. I put my watch through all climates and terrains.I wish durable reliable wrist wear didn’t have to be so darn bulky. I also wear my watch when doing office work or lounging about in the evenings so Obviously being comfortable is important to me Thus why I always look for the styles of bands with breathability, that won’t leave marks on my skin or cause irritation.I wanted to like this band, because this band has the slim design and is breathable and flattering. it just needs a few tweaks to make it something I would want and feel secure relying on with my lifestyle. I now know buying a $9 band for a $700 watch is not logical, it was wishful thinking.Sadly, I am RETURNING this band. HOWEVER, this might be something worth buying for someone else with different needs and lifestyle considering the low budget cost. It is cute and sleek.
