I bought this watch as a Christmas present for my wife, and when I first got it and looked at it I almost sent it right back. In the photo, the hands are pretty clear to see, but that's because they are picking up the light used in the photo. In reality, the hands are nearly as dark as the face!The happy ending is I decided to give it to her anyway, since it was still within the return window, and she really likes it! Though I think she wears it as a piece of jewelry more than as a functional timepiece -- she mostly looks at her phone for the time.NiceThe only reason I gave it 4 stars is because adding/decreasing links is so hard to do!!! I love that it comes with extra links but you have to take it to a pro to have it done. lol It’s a beautiful watch though and super lightweight.This is a really beautiful watch! Seems well made and is lightweight. And I love the black face. But the hands and tick marks are ALSO black (NOT silver as shown in the photo) which makes it VERY difficult to tell the time unless light hits it at a certain angle to “light up” the black metal. If they would just change the hands/ticks to silver like the photo shows, they would sell a TON of these because the tortoise color is that pretty and unique. Sad.Came in time and was just like the pictureI really love this watch. It is on the bigger chunky side almost like a mens watch but I like my watches big anyway. Seems well made. It is heavy, the flat black sections going through the band are metal as well as the clasp. The only problem with it is the face is black and so are the numbers and hands so its hard to read some times. I also find that the links get kinked from time to time and need to be flattened out so the band lays flat again. This may change once I've worn the watch more. All and all I love the watch and I get lots of compliments on it. Its different but very rich and classic looking.Love it so much, got one for each of my daughters.I LOVE this watch. I've had it a few weeks and it keeps time like a charm. Never skips a beat.I bought the Acetate material and its very durable material. While it is somewhat lightweight, its still heavier than a standard leather band watch. I was surprised at the weight because I'm accustomed to wearing light leather bands.The color is beautiful. Looks as the picture shows.I have a very small wrist so when this arrived, I took it to the mall and went to the Dakota kiosk and had them take one link out. They charged $10 so not bad. Better than dealing with buying my own kit etc etc. It took about 2 minutes for them to do that.Fits like a charm now. Looks very sophisticated. Great watch for the price.Beautiful!Arrived with a dead battery. Added one and unless it was laying flat, or tapped the hands would get 'stuck' just past 5... I joke it is my 5:00 somewhere watch. I don't count on the time being correct when I wear it. After multiple contacts with the company, I just gave up. Nice piece of jewellery, but not functional.Me llego mas antes de lo que ponia. Lo mojo todos los dias y no da ningun problema. Lo recomiendo 100%I got this watch for my girlfriend a while back and it looks lovely on her. My only comment would be that you really need a jeweler to adjust it because the pins are finicky and fragile. Not super sturdy but sexy as hell.Awesome watch, it was a gift for my wife. She loves it.
