English language instructions didn't come with it but I did see when I bought it a PDF English version was available. Was able to get it working without them. My previous watch was radio controlled so knew a little bit about it. When setting it up to receive the radio time signal the watch needs to be vertical. Tried it lying on its side and it didn't work.Disappointed with how poorly this watch has held up. It has a permanent mar on the face of the watch rendering it unreadable after just 8 months. I am surprised because I have other less expensive and more expensive Casio watches that have withstood much more use and very similar, if not more rigorous, activity. I do not recommend this watch.I am uncertain that I received the watch that I ordered. I ordered a WV-58J-1AJF. The manual is labeled Casio 3053*JA. The manual is written in Japanese. The watch shows intermittent signal reception. I have a 12 year old Casio Atomic watch that always shows strong signal reception. I know that it is a Wave Ceptor watch but it may not be the right model and it does not seem to wrk as well as my old watch. Is this a gray market watch?I love the watch and it's ability to adjust using the radio signal. As long as you have no issues with the reseller, a Japanese company, you'll be ok. I did have an issue of defect, which I subsequently had to fix myself using super glue. Communication with the Amazon reseller was difficult. I just gave up and fixed the problem myself.Looks just like my husband expected, and is similar to his last watch, which lasted many years. It was easy to set up, and connected to satellite without any issue.It was everything I expected, time, date, and day. I liked the idea that with just one touch of a button, it starts right up without having to go through a lot of different settings, all set to go.Purchased for my spouse. He likes the fact that he does not have to change the time when we travel, or when daylight savings time rears it's ugly head.I am totally satisfied初期設定に戻る不具合が発生、1度目はメーカー保証内で無料で基板交換、2度目は有料とのことで・・・廃棄です。仕事上、秒単位で時刻を確認したい時があり、スマホの時計では対応できないため購入。腕時計にあまり興味がなく、お手頃な値段で済ませたかったので当商品を選択しました。商品到着時のデモ表示状態では電波を受信しないとのこと(取説情報)で2分ほどズレていました。デモ表示解除後、朝の情報番組の上に表示される時計を見て修正。1秒ズレましたが電波による修正を期待しそのまま設定完了。翌朝、更新履歴を見ると午前2時台に電波を受信し秒単位までバッチリ時間が合っていました。さすがカシオの時計ですw見た目もデジタルデジタルしていてあからさまな安っぽさがなく「2万円で買った」と言っても特段違和感はないと思います。安っぽくみえて値段だけは超高額のブランド時計なんかより遥かにいいです。また、軽いため付け心地もよく邪魔になりません。使ってませんが世界時計？、アラーム、ストップウォッチと多機能であり、挙げ句の果てに生活防水機能まで付いて言うことなしでしょう！尚、日本の標準電波の送信局は福島と福岡にあるそうで、この2つで日本全国をカバーしているため離島などでは電波を受信できず、時刻がズレることがあるようです。動作が安定しませんでした。気が付けばリセット状態に。装着感良く、機能的には非常に便利でしたが、作業中にボタンが押されていたのでしょうか、いつの間にか初期状態になっているのは閉口しました。初期不良だったのかもしれません。今は棚の肥やしです。ソーラーではありませんが、カシオの電波腕時計がこの価格で買える時代になったのだなぁと、しみじみ思います。防水性や耐久性は買ったばかりでまだわかりませんが、とても軽いし、電波時計なので当たり前ですが正確です。ただ、ベルトが細くて最初は女性用かと思いましたが、本体はどう見ても男性用。また、付け心地もベルトが細いほうが手首にフィットして、今どきの腕時計の潮流なのでしょうね。新しい時計を付けていると、なんとなく気分良くて、かなり満足しています。バイクの時間確認用に使っています。ハンドル部に付けっぱなしなので、盗難される可能性は常にありますが値段も無茶苦茶高いわけではないので気にしないで使っています。電波補正は今のところ自動で受信できており良好です。夜にドライビング中に時刻を確認したい場合も（停車時、直接走行時に限ってにはなりますが）冬用グローブ越しで右上部のランプボタンを押す事が可能でバックライトの輝度も十分で時刻を確認することができます。ソーラー式ではないのでいつかは電池切れしてしまいますが高級時計ではないので自分で電池交換を挑戦してみようと思います。使い倒せる良さが美点ですね。
